The New Year's Eve dinner was fabulous. We had a great time and the food was wonderful. I would have given them 5 stars, except I was told by my server that, because I was going to use gift cards to pay part of the cost, the restaurant would take a 20% cut from his tip to cover service costs. But, if I used a regular credit card to pay the full amount, no deductions from his gratuity would be made. Maybe you do not have to face so much antipathy and rudeness from the receptionist. unless you need to taste a good Lebanese food... The receptionist does not agree with the Restaurant, where even the "owner" takes care to make you feel good.
The food was good and fresh. But I felt like in a sardine can � The service was poor. We felt invisible. Too noisy as the tables are too close. The lady of the neighboring table commented “hope you’re not claustrophobic “
It is hands down one of the best restaurants in NY.
Beautiful space, excellent, attentive service, and superb cuisine, although a bit pricey. I will definitely return (but need to save my pennies). We had a special lunch - similar to a tasting menu - because we know someone on the staff.
