Fantastic TIRAMISU
I'm not such a gnocchi lover but its excellent here. Everything is solid- fish, lamb, pastas- you can't go wrong.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Monterey Bay area and THE best Italian restaurant. The Tuesday night "family dinner" is unbeatable. It starts at 5pm sharp and is served in long tables where you meet some very interesting people and enjoy a dinner served in large bowls that are passed back and forth by the guests. Pesto gnocchi is the illest.
We are Edward and Francis from Castro VAlley, CA we visited Pacific Grove about 2 weeks ago and we had an awesome time. We asked the taxi driver to recommend an Italian restaurant he took us to Il Vecchio and it was delicious and the food was outstanding from the moment we walked in the service was excellent we felt as if we were locals. I recomment Il Vecchio highly and we will soon be back. The food tastes fresh and delicious. To all the staff at this restaurant keep up the excellent customer service.
