About this business

Located in the vicinity of Museum Mile, this small Italian eatery serves hearty authentic fare. The restaurant exudes a warm vibe with its yellow painted walls which are adorned with traditional Italian knickknacks and pictures of Italy's triumph at the 2006 World Cup. Pasta dishes like Conchiglitte con punte di asparagi (shell pasta with asparagus tips) and Paccheri di Gragnano al Ketel-one (rigatoni with vodka sauce and prosciutto) are served in portions which are big enough for two. The desserts at Il Riccio change daily ... read more

Staff Made Us Leave! I was looking forward to my visit to Il Riccio after having read great reviews of the food. I planned to visit with a friend that I hadn't seen in 6 months. We arrived early--first people in the restaurant for the dinner hour. The staff fawned over us and made us feel quite welcome. That, however, quickly changed as the restaurant began to fill. We ordered wine, appetizers, dinner and dessert. We must have been eating too slowly, because we were encouraged to leave on 4 separate occasions. I looked aroun... read more

The air conditioner was very cold and I kindly asked the manager to give us another table as I get colds easily. He said "no" in a very rude way. (There were only two tables taken in the whole restaurant, the rest were absolutely free). We were frequent customers there, but I don't like to be treated like that. I'm not coming back.

I went to this amazing restaurant in New York. I didn’t imagine that i could find a place with the best Amalfi coast products flavors in USA. I advice it to all. I’ll come back. My great compliments
