i'm pretty sure i was either their first (or second) customer all those years ago.. when the lunch special was only 4.99 (or was it 5.99) either way .. of all the years coming here ive only had one bad experience. so yeah 1 bad experience in what... almost 16 years?

Best Italian in Boulder. Arrabiatta sauce is the stuff over ravioli or Nero mare. Nice owners also.

Well...I'm an East Coast Italian girl who grew up with an Italian nonna in an Italian neighborhood & spent lots of time in NYC & Boston, and I LOVE Il Pastaio, so in the event that anyone might suggest that real Italians would find the food unacceptable, there goes that theory.

We had a very good dinner. Staff is nice. Will go again for sure. Definitely better than a chain.
