One of the rudest most apathetic doctors I’ve ever met. You’d think someone who’s a motility specialist and who’s in high demand would be more educated and kind. Not this one. I’m glad he’s leaving UM. Good riddance!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I hardly ever write a bad review but this Doctor was one of the worst visits I ever had. My other doctor referred me to him, I waited months to see him and had to travel from far. He basically just told me to go back to the referring doctor and ordered nothing. What a waste of time and on top of that arrogant like other said!
Dr Paik will leave UHealth as of January 31, 2025. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to share my feedback of my disastrous visit with him a couple of months ago. He was the epitome of arrogance, rudeness, insensitivity, impatience. Furthermore, the handling of follow up appointments has been extremely unprofessional. I’ve moved on to GastroHealth.
Dr. Paik is worthy of his rank and title. His approach to medicine is unique to his many years of training, commitment, discipline and experience.
Just got home from picking up my 75 year old aunt after a GI procedure. I was upset to hear he was being straight up obnoxious to her in PACU. When she asked him a question he arrogantly said “YOU INTERRUPTED ME.” Such a narcissistic response. She felt like she was just a number, rushed in and out and any questions were met with a condescending answer. I can only imagine how he treats the staff if he’s like this with patients. She only went to this clown because she was referred by another Physician. Never again.
