Most overrated place on the island – For years I have been told this was the restaurant to go to for any and all special occassions. After eating here the only special occassion that is worthy of this food and this atmosphere is if I was taking my dog out for a bite. Not only is Il Classico overrated, it is overpriced, and overly obnoxious. It's in a strip mall, which would be fine, if the food was a good as the ribs a few doors down. Restaurants To notch Italian food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A an elegant restaurant right here in Massapequa. A little pricey, but great for a special occasion.
italian restaurant Did not get the warm welcome I expected for an upper scale restaurant. The food was ok and too pricy for what they offer. The wait staff were older gentlemen who were nice, but again not warm and friendly as you would expect when you are spending money.
