We were referred to the IL Bestro bar by Zach at the CanCan. SO happy he did. We had a wonderful time closing the place down and the bartenders were kickass dudes. Haha!
We went to happy hr on a Monday, seated right away, liked the darker atmosphere and the food was amazing... good lil happy hr :)
Totally not what I was expecting, maybe I went on a rainy day but oh boy! it rained that day. The bottle of Syrah had a nail polish smell (first timer) and I asked the sommelier about the cases where a bottle would be refused. The answer wasn't very helpful nonetheless we let that pass. A few hours later the appetizers came in and they were the best thing that night. The waitress was charming but very forgetful. Bar ran out of a few ingredients, we had to change our order 2x, made our wait for our drinks 2x longer. Otherwise it's romantic at night...
My fiancé and I went there yesterday for dinner. It was a tad difficult to locate as their sign was hidden from the direction we were walking from. The restaurant and decor are both classy. We strayed from the menu and requested substitutions as we are both picky. Our waiter was very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, I would definitely dine there again.
The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Totally recommend it.
