IKON has been the most warm and welcoming gym I have tried in the area in the 5 years I have lived here. Their facility is pristine, the coaching staff is professional and knowledgable, and the community makes lifting fun! I will be sticking around here for years to come.
I’ve been to a lot of gyms over the years, and after 6 months here, I can confidently say IKON is the best gym I’ve been to. So glad I found this spot in the South Bay! The community is a big part of it for me. You see a lot of the same faces daily, everyone is super friendly, and people respect the space by cleaning up after themselves and sharing space & equipment. Clean gym for no-nonsense Olympic weightlifting training. Joined here over other places much closer to me due to their flexibility for open gym without existing Crossfit participation. I greatly appreciate their regular vacuuming to keep dust under control. Makes a huge difference compared to other less tidy gyms in terms of better breathing. Good food nearby makes it easy to get in a squat session and pack on the calories after.
