There is nothing bad to say about Dr Ikerd or her staff. She is an excellent Dr and her staff is friendly. Love them all.
Dr. Ikerd performed bunion and a triple hammer toe surgery on my foot and I could not have asked for a better outcome. She is thorough in her expanations, patiently listing to questions and has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced with a physician. This wasn't a fun surgery to go through but my confidence level in her skills continued to grown with each step.
She did bunion surgery and or corrected it now my foot is deformed and noting can be done can never wear a shoe only slippers and would be better with a prosthetic foot. Steer clear.
My daughter had ingrown toenails. They were very painful and bothered her most of the time. They would also get infected a lot. We went to Dr Ikerd to see what she could do. Now 2 yrs later we have yet to have any further problems. Loved her and the staff!!!
Dr. Ikerd performed surgery on Morton's neuromas on my foot years ago. I developed arthritis in my big toe joint immediately following the surgery. The arthritis is far worse than the neuromas were. She made the remark that she really got in there and moved things around. Obviously.
I would recommend Dr Ikerd to everyone. She is what a doctor SHOULD be in that she takes the time to LISTEN to you and FOCUS on what you are saying. Not interrupt with what SHE thinks you mean. I was very impressed. Even though my news was not exactly good, I trust her and will follow through due to her encouragement. The only downside to recommending Dr Ikerd is that she will become so popular that I will have a hard time getting an appointment. She is the best!
