I had a check up today with my nephrologist and we discussed my surgery back in 2014. I had a biolobectomy performed Dr.Okereke. I was so fortunate to have had him as my surgeon . He was so great with my husband and I, he explained everything clearly, and felt confident going Into surgery. I just want to thank (sarcasm) Dr okerke for taking my husband from me. One year ago he allowed my husband to have an asphogectamy knowing that his body was not ready. My husband passed on yesterday July 29, 2023.
Dr Okereke probably saved my life. He insisted that the pathologist review the samples he sent to them after my surgery. The initial diagnosis was no malignant cells present. Dr. O insisted on rechecking the samples. The pathologist finally saw that there were many many small, so small, cancer cells present which resulted in a diagnosis of malignant cancer cells present to small to see. Dr O clearly saved my life.
