We ordered the teriyaki chicken meal and it was dark, thick, tough and dry. The sauce was gross. We had one bite each and were done. 🤮 I asked for the meal to be removed from our bill and the manager refused, stating, “we only use dark meat.” What a waste of food and money! We will not be returning.
Sushi was tasty but way too big. Atmosphere was lacking. Dated furniture and dusty lighting
Their food is fantastic, my favorites were the Chilean Sea Bass, Black Cod, and Grilled Salmon. The Black Cod especially stood out; it was prepared in the authentic Japanese style, and I've never found anything like it anywhere else in the Huntington Beach area. The flavors were rich and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere made me feel like I’m in Japan, the decor and ambiance were immersive and peaceful, it added to the overall experience. I’m definitely going to bring my family here next time
