Always a pleasure eating at Ikaho. The best place to eat sushi in South Lake County.
It used to be quite good. I don't know what happened but the service and food were horrible the last time I went. The ginger and wasabi on the plate had clearly been there for hours (think hour old avocado). The tempura Ahi roll which should be flash fried to preserve the tuna was like a sushi French fry cooked and I mean almost inedible throughout. The panko coating on the "crunchy salmon" roll was mush and rubbery.
I love this place!

Having lived in Tokyo for 4 years I'm very familiar with what good Japanese food tastes like and this place is awesome. We started with two orders of the Gyoza dumplings and some Edamame. Both dishes were delicious. We then added 5 pieces of Salmon Sushi and a Volcano Roll. If you have never had the Volcano roll I highly recommend it. My friends had the Chicken Teriyaki Bento and the Shrimp Teriyaki Bento which were good sized portions. I had the Beef Teriyaki Bento that I enjoyed very much. We all plan to return again soon.
Everyone is super nice here and the food is just amazing, Sushi is always fresh � I highly recommend them!
Very good and nicely decorated! I had the futo maki and volcano rolls. I like futo maki because it's similar to kimbap (Korean sushi). Note if you order the volcano roll it does come to your table fully lit with a flame. So be cautious with kiddos and even adults around and if you have long hair tie it back beforehand!😜🔥☄️🌋🍣🍱
