I had an excellent service experience at IJL, trying on a few Grand Seikos and Omegas. Their advisors Janelle and Jeff took the time to show me several pieces and answer questions. No pretentiousness or upselling.
Without a doubt Jeff at IJL is the best in the game. I just purchased an Omega Seamaster 300M from IJL. The reason for this is I stumbled across IJL originally looking for another watch they had pre-owned. The receptionist was extremely kind and Jeff took over 45 mins explaining to me in detail the intricacies of the watch. Unfortunately did not have a good experience while shopping here for an engagement ring! We spoke to a gentleman who advised he was part of the design crew, he continuously put down lab diamonds and made us feel "cheap" or less than for wanting to purchase a lab, and kept going on about the value of natural mined diamonds. He also made us feel like we were wasting his time, kept looking around and honestly never smiled or engaged in any decent conversation. My partner and I had the best experience at IJL. Rebecca was incredibly helpful. IJL was the first store we went to when starting our search for my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands. Rebecca made us both feel so relaxed and the experience was better than either of us could have imagined. Safe to say we didn’t feel the need to look anywhere else. IJL is definitely the spot for us whenever we are looking to purchase jewelry or watches.
