Saw Dr. Beblawi for ongoing upper abdominal pain/possible GI issues. Had several months of health issues (ER, Hospital visits), and was nervous about seeing "yet another" doctor. Dr. Beblawi completely put me at ease, answered my questions, was thoughtful about what might be going on, clearly articulated next steps (some additional diagnostic exams), and was informative and personable throughout. After my colonoscopy seven years ago using general anesthesia, he told me I had two polyps and needed to return for another colonoscopy in seven years. Later I learned he never sent the report to my primary care physician. Having moved to another state, I called his office to get a copy of the report for my new doctor. The report showed no polyps at all, but instead said that I had diverticulitis and two hemorrhoids. This is completely different from what he told me.
