Wonderful physician who took such great care of my Dad for many years. His gentleness & love for the elderly was a rare gift.
I was a patient with Dr. Gonzalez. I went to him exhausted, thin hair and gaining weight. He diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and put me on Synthroid. When I continued to have worsening symptoms and simply not improve at all I did research and learned about another type of medicine for hypothyroidism, it is called Natural Desiccated Thyroid, which is made from pig thyroid.
