I had been sick for 10 years was on LTD...tested for everything, had a lot of issues but couldn't put a name on all the issues till 2010 when I finally had testing done at IgeneX to prove I was really ill and had lyme...even then no one really wanted to believe I had it without doing a canadian test...so now I am better than the first 10 years but have chronic lyme and can manage it better after the diagnoses. Igenex requires you to write your credit card number on their test requisition form, with no option to enter your information in a secure system. I was hesitant, but thought surely they would guard my financial information professionally. Instead, they used my credit card to pay $1,662.50 for another patient's test, and then realized the error and credited my account. About a month later they realized that they did not charge for my test, and so then charged $1,662.50 for my test.
