This place is amazing. I have been here twice and have throughly enjoyed my time spent here. The bartenders and manager are awesome and make you feel at home and part of the family. The beer selection is great and the food is awesome, try the Bratwurst with the Cucumber Relish paired with the Weinhenstephan Hefewiessen. It won't disappoint. They also have a cozy outdoor seating area that will be great when it warms up again. If you're planning a trip to Atlantic Beach, NC this place is definitely worth a try.
Great spot for beers and other dishes you can't get anywhere else! Will definitely go back this summer and spend some time outdoors with friends and some good cold beers!

Every bite=DELICIOUS!!! AB has been craving something fresh & new for so long & Idle Hour is exactly what we needed! Sand between your toes, cold beer in your hand, with lights strung in a canopy of Palm trees with a cozy outdoor fireplace. Perfect beachy atmosphere, great beer and greater food!
Had lunch on Sunday. Delicious! Well trained wait staff, clever decor! Can't wait to return! Thanks Fred Bunn and Trace Cooper for your foresight!

Had their 100% grass fed beef cheeseburger and fresh cut french fries for lunch today and it was excellent. I highly recommend it.
