I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my recent experiences at Ideal Dental. I hadn't been to the dentist for a couple of years because of my anxiety around going to the dentist, and my experiences here have only reinforced those anxieties. First of all, I came to my first appointment for a new patient exam and after waiting about 20 minutes to get called back, I am brought to the back only to wait another 10 minutes or so. Got a cleaning while on their in house plan. Later that year I got new insurance and they canceled my in house plan then went back and charged me for the last cleaning even though I specifically asked if it was going to still be covered. The single cleaning was more expensive than the entire 2 year in house plan. Absolutely criminal for a company to do that.
This is mostly a review for anyone who works at community transit and has the dental plan they give. This place Doesn’t take your union insurance for dental (I see as they don’t support unions) but if you have a dental emergency this place is good for an exam and Xray for 57$ so that you can at least get some meds to help until Monday comes (most places are closed during the weekends cause I guess nobody has dental emergencies on weekends🙄) they try to work you into signing up with their “in house” insurance to “drop” your ... read more
