Great shop! They have a great selection of yarns and the ladies that work there are wonderful! They not only answered a few questions I had regarding a pattern, but they were welcoming of my small children and have an area where they can play while you shop!! Win win!
I discovered this store surfing the internet. I was interested in finding a painted needlepoint canvas that I'd seen on Pinterest but was unlucky finding it any where. I 'discovered' this shop in the Chicago 2017 Yarn Crawl. The BEST selection of non-wool yarns within reasonable driving distance for me. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff/owner. Friendly, informative and just a great shop to spend a little time in (and to buy yarn, of course). I have already taken two of my knitting friends, and hope to return often. Idea Studio carries a great selection of beads suitable for knitting as well as assistance and classes on beading.
This was my first visit and will not be my last. I left the shop wishing it were closer to my home. The ladies were so nice and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure.
