If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The professionalism of this place is absolutely horrid. I had a ceiling leak in my room for the entire length of my tenancy in one of their buildings, and nothing was ever done to get it fixed. It was water leaking from the tenant above me, and management never did anything to fix the problem. NEVER RENT FROM ICON – One of the worst rental experiences of my life. Icon is incredibly disingenuous when they rent apartments. They bill things as one bedrooms, which really are just studios with a set of sliding doors. They hire the minimum amount of superintendents for their buildings, so the super is never responsive because he is running all over the city fixing things in ICON buildings. Thieves! Anyone who would consider doing business with Icon Realty Management, LLC should have their head examined. I had a brief dealing with these scum of the earth and thankfully, I walked away before signing a lease. I am a born and bred New Yorker and I have NEVER in my many years of living met a company that is SCAM CITY. RUN..RUN FAR – these guys who run the ICON buildings make it look clean, nice and well kept with curb appeal, but the is no love to the tenants when pipes burst. All about them and their bottom line. Skrew the little people..
Say NO to ICON!! PASS ON ANYTHING ICON... The KIDS that own this company are sleazy! The mgmt company does not answer there phone, so expect no help or "management" these people are just plain RUDE. Horrible! horrible horrible experience! I wish i can break my lease. They are sooooo slow in fixing basic manintence issues, and nobody in the mgt or the super provides any status update. No hot water for weeks on top of other issues and Icon refused to compensate on rent. Nobody from the mgt ever apologize for all the inconvenice tenants had to endure and never attempt to make things right. Can't wait for the lease to be up!
Sleazy Slumlord Alert!!! Don't sign it! – Do yourself a favor and don't rent from this company. It's not worth the headache. They're very deceiving about the condition of the apartments and will never respond when you need repairs. They harass tenants and accuse us of causing plumbing and other problems which are the management company's responsibility. They ignore phone calls, refuse to provide heat and hot water.
