Didn't Like Recently I had some wedding cake from Icing Illusions. The cake was truly 100% beautiful and gorgeous to look at. But it was so dry and bland tasting that I was really disappointed.
Unprofessional and Dishonest! I hired this company to make my wedding cake in 2007. They had beautiful work on display and tasty samples. I paid my deposit 7 months out. A month before the wedding I paid the entire balance in full plus the groom's cake remaining balance (over $900). Two weeks before the wedding my fiance of 3 years decided he no longer wanted to get married-devastating me to say the least. Ivy promised to refund at least 2/3 of the balance. Never Disappointed! As a wedding/party planner I have had the pleasure of working with Icing Illusions on several occasions. In my opinion Ivy is one of the best, if not the best, bakers in the area. She creates wonderful cakes that also happen to taste good. She is always courteous and honest and goes the extra mile for customer service. I always recommend my brides to her and they have never been disappointed. I always look forward to working with her and trying to sneak a piece of cake at the reception.

Icing Illusions is WONDERFUL Icing Illusions did a beautiful job on my Bride and Grooms cake in August! My cake was very unique, and very timely! My husband's cake was EXACTLY the football stadium that he asked for! (You can tell we're in the south!) We used all sorts of flavors of cake! Wedding cakes Cakes were both beautiful and great tasting, could have not been more pleased with the outcome of our wedding cakes. I would highly recommend Icing Illusions to any bride that would want one less thing to worry about for the big day !
Fabulous!!!! Without a doubt Icing Illusions cakes are delicious and beautiful. I have used Icing Illusions numerous times for birthday cakes and special occasion cakes. I have never been disappointed by the flavor or freshness of her cakes. She offers numerous flavors of cakes and icings and I have tried them all. She is so talented with her cake designs. She can do any design you can come up with. You will not be disappointed!!!
Almost makes you want to get married again! Icing Illusions is a wonderful cake design center - we are so fortunate to have such a high-end shop in Montgomery. No two cakes are the same - Ms. Davis takes pride in her work and it is evident when you see the finished product. Her wedding cakes are unique and absolutely beautiful - and they taste FANTASTIC!
