probably the best BBQ I've had in Michigan! I had the brisket and my husband had the Brisket sandwich. the staff was amazing and super welcoming to our 7 month old puppy that was tagging along with us on the island. he loved the attention they gave him. the staff even brought him his own water dish! will definitely come back on our next trip to the island!
We went to the TI looking for a dog friendly patio for our meal. Ice House BBQ was recommended and we are happy it was. We ate our meal on the beautiful patio and our dog was most welcomed. The food (pulled pork for me, a salad for my wife) was delicious and the service was attentive and enthusiastic. Our desert was the Bread pudding and it was perfect. The week spot was the coffee, which didn’t live up to the standards of the meal. Nevertheless, I would return when I am on the island again and I recommend Ice House BBQ.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Our server Beau was fun and engaging, and made sure our large group was taken care of. Loved the Mac and cheese and pulled pork—the quaint patio is a must!

Food was excellent!! We had pulled pork and Roadhouse Burger. They had the best iced tea. And they let our dog stay at the table on the patio with us. Great experience, will definitely return!

On the main street just past the main shopping area, this place was nice and quiet, not crowded. It was the break from the crowd that our family needed. The food was fantastic, the corn fritters were SO GOOD. Only possible down side is that maybe not everyone could walk up the long steep path.
