The experience with the doctor Rafael Castro was simply terrible. He gave my son a diagnosis with no empathy. When I asked him what he observed in my son to give the diagnosis, he told me that he was not there to convince me of anything. I would like no other mother to go through this again. I left there with more questions than answers, and we are looking for another doctor who can have enough empathy to deal with a family that is only looking for help for their children.
We had a very disappointing experience at ICCD with an SLP, Kaitlyn Mulcahey. I gave feedback to her regarding the activities she created for my child. I said the sensory bin was a bit boring for my kid. She then started crying and insulted my child (he was in the room!) during our session. The director didn’t care when I told her about the incident.
Dr.Castro is 🤩 amazing! He has given my child the diagnosis that he needed and now the road of healing ❤️🩹 is laid out! He was so patient and kind through this process as my child was super nervous throughout the testing. I also send all my children who needs developmental testing to him.
Don't waste your time. I would give zero stars if I could. These people don't even have the decency to respond to the numerous emails and voicemails I've left them.
This place is so thorough and the doctors really care! I brought my son here after hearing about the attention to detail in both the testing and reports. My husband and I had an hour long meeting with the doctor before my son's appointments. He was very thorough and listened to all of our concerns. We then came back for two days of testing and my son did not have any difficulty going with the doctors to finish the tests. They treated us very well and offered snacks and breaks.
