They share all of your info when you purchase a domain name which is very unsafe and unnecessary- but then you have to pay more money to get them to not share all your info publicly. Scammy. Also I changed my credit card to update it. They made a weird loophole so it didn't get attached to the account - only the email package making the domain expire though I was under the impression we updated it with godaddy. Nope they wanted $80-100 more to restore it.

Even though I'm a paying customer of an ICANN provider, they said that ICANN's policies are to shut down domains that are not validated. This just happened to me and it's causing me irreparable harm. My customers are now also down and have been since they shut my domain down. The "security" procedure they had me do was take a picture of my drivers license and send it in. Now, how many teenagers have you heard making their own fake license? This is STUPID. Any idiot knows this is not secure. Now I'm giving them data they SHOU... read more

This corporation scams small business and consumers. My domain name expired and ICANN has demanded $100 fee to renew it. ICANN has a monopoly on the market and charges whatever they demand. This should be illegal, I'm submitting a complaint to my state government.
