If I could give a zero I would. I, like a few of the other reviews, was ripped off my Alex. Took my money and never finished the job. DO NOT USE THEM!!
Sadly my experience was the same as other recent reviewers' circumstances. Alex Orlof was initially very responsive, visiting my site and telling me to meet him at a decking showroom to finalize material selection. I sent my down payment. He never showed at the showroom and has never responded since.
Unfortunately it seems my family and I were victims of fraud by Alex Orloff. He was super responsive before we signed the deal and constantly answered our calls and texts. Now we can't even get a response from him or anyone else at IC Build. Once we had paid our 1/3 down payment, they have ghosted us. I even called our city to see if the permits were even in process and they said no one called in for permits for our property. We were fortunately able to go to our bank and get the money back. Alex gave us a quote and we signed the deal, then paid our 1/3 up front. Now he is not returning our calls and is hard to find. His website is down, and the phone number listed here is out of service. I would think twice before going with them.
IC Build Decking was top notch from estimate to planning/design to the final product. They were very professional as a father/son team and their work crew were always professional and worked efficiently. Alex handled the estimate, planning and the permit requirements for the village which was a bonus that I did not have to deal with. Very easy and straightforward to work with. It was a very easy and non stressful experience.
