SO disappointed in our experience here on 8/1. As an RN and sports mom I always recommended this location for acute orthopedic care after we had a satisfactory experience here in 2023 for my son’s football injury. My husband woke up on 8/1 with excruciating back pain and unable to go to work. I never leave negative reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. I arrived for a scheduled appointment regarding chronic lower back pain (L4/L5 issue). Despite being on time, multiple patients who arrived *after* me were taken back first. After finally being called for X-rays, I was told to wait "just a few minutes" for the doctor—only to sit for **over an hour** in the waiting room. From the office staff to the nurses to Dr. Friedrich I haven’t had anything but great experiences. Everyone’s always super friendly and Dr. Friedrich is easy to talk to and explains things in every day terms. I’m definitely going to keep coming here if I have any issues!
Today, I was in so much pain and went in .The nurse told me that I needed a referral from primary doctor and I notified them that I have one and will have my pcp fax it in. Dr.Taylor Atikinson was in and he wouldn’t see me. The nurse came back saying that you need a referral now and need to come back with appointment Otherwise you can pay $350 to go in.I told her that the pain is intolerable and I need to be seen asap.
