I was a previous patient of his for my back surgery when he was with UCSF extension. I recently had an MRI done of my neck at my neurologist request and they feel I might need surgery, so I asked to b referred here. They have sent 3 referrals to this place and no one from there has reached out. I've called 5 times, 3 of them leaving information for a call back on their voice mail. No one has called me. **GET A SECOND OR THIRD OPINION ** Do not jump to surgery! Long story short. My dad some with his PA first. My dad herniated his disk and their first option was FUSION Surgery. On a 73 yr old diabetic man. My dad was nervous and asked me to go in and see what was going on. She walked in the office and DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME. As I stated in my review I had to go see his PA before I could see him. She offered surgery and she is just the PA? I wanted his opinion. I had to make another appointment and once again I had to see the PA. I finally saw him and he did not even explain anything and referred to me another doctor. He cared more about his 49ers as I heard him talking in the hall than to explain what is wrong with a patient and offer his opinion. I had to take two days off of work and don’t even know what I am dealing with.

A very caring and highly skilled surgeon. He operated on my husband and repaired a protruding disc in his lower back that had caused him years of excruciating aand debilitating sciatic pain.
