I tore my ACL in January. After already tearing my right one 10 years ago; I was terrified to go through surgery again and rehab. The day I had my evaluation my emotions were very high and I had a mild panic attack in the room. Dr. Ian MacLean is wonderful! I had ACL reconstruction using a cadaver graft on my right knee, and he made the entire experience so much easier. He took the time to explain everything in detail, from the procedure itself to what recovery would look like, and never made me feel rushed. Very professional and caring surgeon!
I saw Dr. MacLean for a rotator cuff surgery. From the beginning, he immediately made me feel comfortable. Not only with him but with the surgery. His proverbial bedside manner is very calming. I had wonderful success with my surgery minus one small setback. Thru that setback, he was very responsive & attentive. Most Dr's treat you as a number.
