I strongly advise steering well clear of this engineer unless you relish an encounter with someone nursing a palpable chip on their shoulder, dispensing advice in a manner that's nothing short of condescending. What should have been a collaborative exchange devolved into a tedious exercise in intellectual posturing, where basic inquiries were met with dismissive sighs and replies implying my questions were beneath contempt. This isn't professional acumen; it's ego unchecked, eroding any semblance of trust or respect.

I had a brief and unpleasant phone conversation with IT Gonzalez. While explaining the needs for our project, Mr. Gonzalez interrupted me and insisted on talking over me. Mr. Gonzalez continued to talk in a condescending tone, while asking me questions about our project. As I described our needs, Mr. Gonzalez suggested a subdivision of our lot and said we are going about the process wrong. Really personable office however, does a plat map of an area that has nothing to plat really cost 22000.00. Looks like I'll be squatting on my own land for a very long time. I just did not expect the unwarranted demands of Travis County, nor the unnecessary financial burden that is upon me. Don't expect fair housing if you aren't either indigent or making 7 figures. I'd say the normal 6 figures but we're way past that. I'd be given a better chance of a decent living if lived in tent, under a bridge, in the center of Austin. ... read more
