I've been going there for the past 4 years and I am so impressed with their menu and quality of the food. No glitz or glamour just plain good arss sushi! Great Service, Breathtaking Deluxe Boxes – I came here on a Friday night, when the place was packed with hungry diners, yet the service was outstanding. No tourists to deal with here, only true locals, foodie adventurers, and sushi lovers. I ordered the dinner deluxe box (Chicken teriyaki), and I was caught offguard by the large amount of high quality food here!!! The waitress kept on coming with segments of the deluxe box. Inexpensive Sushi, Chicken Teriyaki is the best – This restaurant is located near the costco in San Fran, on the corner of the 16th and Potrero. This place isn't known for its decor - pretty non formal japanese interior, however the sushi is first rate. As far as teriyaki chicken goes, you have to try it. Better than you thought... – Despite its strip mall location and generic decor, I keep coming back to this place. The food is pretty good and it's never any trouble to get seated or find parking. They also have many veggie rolls and vegetarian selections. They are family run and friendly.
Right Price – Looking for a great place for an informal dinner on a budget. This is the place. I have been going here for about two years. The food, and Sushi is fresh, fresh, fresh, and the portions are ample. Great Service. They have a good lunch menu too.
Good reliable sushi! – I go here every week, so it's good enough to get me to keep coming back! I wish that there was more variety in the sushi, but all of the rolls I have had are super fresh and yummy! Can't beat the service, your order arrives in just a few minutes. A much undiscovered place!
A gem in the rough.... – You'd never notice it unless you looked for it, but this place is fantastic! Fresh sushi, great food (non-sushi), outstanding service at a fantastic price! I still go back even though I don't live in Portrero Hill anymore because it's such a bargain. I'm taking someone there tonight as a matter of fact....
