Good sushi at a reasonable price I love Sushi is conveniently located in the Eastlake area and has plenty of parking and is right on the busline. There is a huge sushi bar and the chefs are pretty chatty if you ask questions. They have an excellent selection of rolls and nigiri. I love the fried banana and mint ice cream dessert. The only negative is that it seems to have wierd hours and isn't open whenever we were craving sushi. Great lookout on the lake! PROS: parking CONS: hours

I love I Love Sushi This is a very popular sushi restaurant in Seattle. We were seated right as the restaurant opened for lunch and it filled up quickly. I got the Sushi A plate (I think that's the name) which is a lunch special of many different kinds of sushi plus a California roll. The restaurant is located right on the water so the view is interesting. The sushi was very fresh and tasty. There is plenty of (paid) parking available.

The best sushi place in Seattle I tried almost all of the Sushi place in Seattle area. I think this restaurant is one of the best places for Sushi. They make awsome Sushi and provide good quality of service. It's a good place for dating especially summer season. I like to enjoy the lake view from their patio.....

Get the chef's choice – I always get the chef's choice of the day, and I've never been disappointed. The chef knows what's fresh that day.

Sushi nightmare – If only I had simply put a box in a Safeway shopping cart and hauled over to the fish case and asked the butcher to cut off some scraps that were past "use by date" and arrange them on my box it would have been a much better experience that walking through the door at I Love Sushi. But if you like "pet grade" tired old fish you WILL love their cut of raw fish. Just glad we did not order the fugu. And you have to pay to park.

Bone-In Sushi....a Seattle First - Yikes! – July 4, 2009, first time at ILS. Upon entering the restaurant the aesthetics reminded me of a cross between a low-cost nursing home dining room and an old decrepit mobile home. There were very few patrons. Undeterred, based on reviews, we sat at the sushi bar and ordered. I then went to the men's room to wash my hands...the stench of old urine hung heavily in the air like a fetid wet blanket. The walls were covered in graffiti the likes of "If you want a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ call xxx-xxxx... read more

Overrated! – We visited here for dinner on a Friday night recently. The service was friendly and professional. The food was not high quality. They used low-quality fish and too much MAYONNAISE. The building and space was not well kept and very outdated- it looks like the owners hadn't put any money into it since the mid-1990's. OH, and the lighting was terrible. We will not go back and wouldn't recommend.

Not worth it...at all. – Meals are what I call "Mini" portions. I spent $15 bucks on a bento box and got $6 worth of food. The chicken was cold and mostly fat...and it tasted like a chicken breast from Safeway that was just cooked up. This was not teriyaki chicken...it was chewy, fatty chicken with some sprinked soy sauce. The sushi was not good, and was mostly rice. Overrall, it was not a good use of lunch money. I'll stick with the good ones from now on.

You don?t get what you pay for! – Have you ever ordered a pricey meal expecting to indulge in every drop you pay for, and when it comes out, there?s barely anything on the plate?! Well that?s I Love Sushi for ya! I ordered the bento special for lunch, paid almost $20 and got a few pieces of average tasting sushi to go along with a few pieces of chewy teriyaki, cold miso soup and salad! Defiantly a waste of money when I could have gone to another place, spent less money and got more food. When it comes down to it, this place ... read more
