Called Ricky to ask about septic design and permitting, he quoted me $1000 and the permit will only cost me around $250 from anyone else (call Clayton 361-645-4510) and told me I am not allowed by law to install my own OSSF, so I did some research since I am a licensed plumber from washington and this house will be my vacation home and found that I can install my own OSSF, according to http://www.tceq.texas.gov/licensing/ossf/ossfgeneral.html AND http://www.tceq.state.tx.us/licensing/licenses/ossflic. Run! These guys are very unprofessional! Never returned phone calls! We finally found someone to come out and look at our septic tank and found out that I-10 hadn't installed it properly. We could've possibly been pumping raw sewage on our lawn!
I live in new Porland subdivision. I-10 installed all septic systems in our subdivision: Pros: -None! Cons: -They never came by to inspect septic tanks but submitted inspections to county inspector. Receipts of inspection were never left at residence as required and quarterly inspections were never properly done on septic systems. -Failed to add risers to septic tanks, when it rains, septic covers are lower than ground and water fills tanks causing home sewer system to backup inside house!
