I am beyond upset with recommendations given to me by the service center at Hyundai of Kirkland. It took several months to get an appointment when my engine light was on. Had taken it to my regular mechanic twice but they were not able to fix. - Took to the dealer and they fixed problem for $700 but they also did a multi point inspection and said brake linings required immediate attention and would fix for $800+. Confused and shocked!!I was just denied to purchase a vehicle because I live 5 hours away! WOW - i was going to drive and purchase the vehicle. On 3/16/2022 we purchased at 2022 Hyundai ********, and traded in our 2019 ****** Outback. The lease payoff on the Outback was $19,000, but when the final finance documents were prepared the payoff amount was listed as $16,000. On May 4, 2022, we had to produce another $3,000 in order to not have to refinance this Santa Fe. We did that, and were promised the paint and interior coating service, that we declined at the day of purchase. I called before going in to ask about a trade in. My car was in the shop and unknown what was wrong. I figured they could not take it in on trade but called to find out either way. ***** in sales assured me it was no problem. Just have the vin number and miles he said. I tried to purchase a vehicle through Kirkland Hyundai and has been a complete mess. I submitted all pre approval paperwork to David Kim on March 20th, called in and gave him a credit card for a $500 deposit. Was told I would save money financing the vehicle and could finance the minimum amount and pay the car off as I was looking to pay cash and apparently its more if you pay cash. Please note the BBB was unhelpful in resolving this issue with the company. Ultimately, it was posting the 1 star review on Google Maps that led to a resolution with the company, which is still in progress. This 1-star review due to undisclosed billing occurring AFTER the purchase of my vehicle. After negotiating a cost for hours, we walked to the finance building a block away and waited for another hour to be seen. My 2012 Hyundai Tucson stalled on the highway and thus was towed to Hyundai of Kirkland for repair. The service department relayed that due to the recent safety recall 19v063, it would be a couple weeks before they could look at my car. I had no choice but to wait since my car at this point was inoperable. I asked for a courtesy car while the work was being done, but of course they refused.
