Known Steering Defect – No Support from Hyundai Canada I’ve been a loyal Hyundai customer for many years and recently purchased a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate Hybrid — a clear sign of my continued trust in the brand. Unfortunately, my experience with Hyundai Canada regarding my previous vehicle (2013 Santa Fe XL) has been deeply disappointing. That vehicle developed a steering issue due to a failed flexible coupling in the MDPS (electric steering system) — a well-documented defect covered in the U.S. by TSBs 14‑ST‑002‑1 and ... read more

Terrible, Terrible experience with Hyundai Canada. My leased 2025 Tuscon had A/C Compressor issue, needed to be replaced. It took 6 weeks to get the back order part to the dealership, with 4 times ETA changed. The car was not drivable (No A/C)at all in hot season for 1 month and half , left at the dealership. Now they are not reimbursing the payments for that 6 weeks. The only thing they know to say , is bunch of excuses and jargons, from the Rep. over the phone to escalated case department. Good luck if your Hyundai car nee... read more

- Since December 2024, I realized that my 2016 Hyundai Elantra was burning oil. I brought my car to Maple Hyundai and they told me that they will check the oil consumption at every 1000 km 5 times and if it is really burning oil they will get the approval from Hyundai itself and change the engine for free. - Since then every month (after 1000 km) for oil changes and oil checks I brought the car to them. And they told me how much oil it was burning each time. - On 4th of June after the last oil check, my car's oil was changed... read more

I must express that your position on this matter is both unacceptable and disappointing. The need to add a full bottle of oil twice within a single service period, especially during a standard oil change, is entirely unreasonable and points to a significant manufacturing defect. If Hyundai Auto Canada is unwilling to take responsibility for this issue or offer a resolution, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further. Please be advised that I am actively exploring legal action and have begun consulting with leg... read more
