After being referred to her and reading her bio, I thought she would be compassionate and understanding to my diagnosis. During my appointment, she never directed the conversation towards me - instead just rattling off information for her nurse to notate. Dr. Shvartsman also made assumptions on my tumor, staring she felt it was pressing up against the colon - all this without doing a thorough exam and before my MRI and PET scan . Terrible bed side manner. Did not allow for any questions to be asked. Yells at her patients, rude, no patience or compassion
Dr. Shvartsman performed surgery on my mom to remove a cancerous tumor. I have been so impressed with how knowledgeable, thorough, and proactive Dr. Shvartsman is. My mother’s case is rare and Dr. Shvartsman has been extremely dedicated to making sure her cancer does not return. She has made referrals to see an oncologist for radiation therapy and referred us to an expert in rare cancers for a second opinion. My mother is technically in remission after her surgery, but Dr. Shvartsman has truly gained my respect and gratitude... read more
