Booked appt and claimed my insurance was accepted. Got a call the day of after I took of from work to say that it was “an error” and my insurance was not accepted. Out of pocket was $350. God bless America -_-
I’ve seen 7 dermatologists in my lifetime and none of them were able to resolve my “eczema” that I’ve had since I was a teenager. After the second visit when I did a week long patch chemical allergen testing with Dr Eldik, he was able to give me a list of 16 different chemicals and ingredients of what I was allergic to and told me I didn’t have eczema that I had psoriasis! I’ve been seeing Dr. Hysem Eldik for almost two years now, and I can honestly say he has completely transformed my skin. From my very first appointment, he took the time to really understand my concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and create a plan tailored to me. His expertise, professionalism, and genuine care are unmatched. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who is not only incredibly skilled but also truly cares about his patients, I can’t recommend Dr. Eldik highly enough!!!
Dr. Eldik was 10/10, very knowledgeable and great bedside manners. The front desk ladies, however, gave me incorrect information about my insurance (told me I needed a referral from my student health services to be seen bc it was a Mount Sinai-specific policy or just reschedule), made me sign forms using a pad without actually showing me what I was signing (when I asked to know what I was signing, they just told me to look at my patient portal later), and added over half an hour to my appt, which I had rearranged my entire h... read more
