I had 80 2-hr sessions which stopped the bleeding I was experiencing from radiation caused bladder cystitis. The entire crew are skilled professionals. Their patience and senses of humor made each day so much easier to experience. BTW there is a large catalog of movies and TV series available to view during your treatment or you can watch live TV. There is no doubt that I will stop by to visit these special people.
I have done decades of public health law and my wife is a nurse practitioner. Thus, we can evaluate the quality of medical services and the professionalism of the health car providers. Have you ever looked at our crumbling health care system and wondered what an actual functional hospital would look like? The doctors and nurses are some of the most caring and competent I've ever encountered. These folks care so much about treating wounds that it borders on the obsessive,... read more
I can’t say enough great things about the entire hyperbaric team. They made a not-terribly-fun experience bearable, even pleasant! Absolutely everyone on staff is kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, responsible, and empathetic. I felt truly seen and cared for during my 20 sessions, and I actually miss having the care team in my daily life.
I was really dreading the treatment being enclosed in a chamber for 2 hours, but it really wasn’t that bad after the first few sessions. The nursing team of Sandy, Janet, Adam, Carrie, and Evelyn was so supportive and caring. In fact, they become like family or good friends after 40 sessions. They made sure I was comfortable and had a good movie to watch. My original wound has healed nicely, and hopefully the infection has cleared. Kudos to Dr Richmond and Dr. Rotter for overseeing my treatment!
