Overwhelmed with the honesty and integrity of the company. They are very responsive to calls for help. They only fix what is necessary and minimize the cost. I am so impressed with the owner, Steve Clark, . You can trust them to fix your furnace,and air conditioning equipment.
I have used Hygrade for both installation and repair of several heating and cooling units over the years, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I respectfully disagree with the critical comments. On multiple occasions other contractors comment about how precise and professional our installation was. What prompts this review is that we had our air conditioner break down during a heatwave, and Hygrade was gracious enough to squeeze us in and come out the same day to fix it. BEWARE!! They will gladly take jobs and get paid, however when the works done and you have an issue good luck getting them to respond and fullfill obligations. Mine was done some years ago, but its never too late for review. Put in furnace. mixing valve was not working properly.Reached out to the owner who agreed to come and replace it at no cost. 1st appt. I've had 2 systems installed by Hygrade. They are professional, prompt, and knowledge. If I have a service request, they can make it out to troubleshoot any issues in a timely manner. Pricing is good and they sell good products. I've recommended them to several coworkers and they've always been happy as well.
Completely satisfied with the work of Steve, Jason R. (HVAC Master Tech), and team. They gave us a competitive quote with better higher cost furnace and heat pump than competitors. Work was completed on time, the crew were extremely professional and dealt with some challenging issues in our 90 year old West Hartford home. They did work for our neighbors (who were completely satisfied) and now after they replaced our entire heating/AC System (30 years old) we are also. HIGHLY recommended.
