I had dinner with two friends of mine (11/15/2023 around 5:30pm). The waitress (Diane) was our server. She was the rudest/worst server I ever had the displeasure of ruining my dining experience. It all started when she took our order. When she got to me, I asked her if they served bread, because there wasn't any on the table, and because I was thinking of ordering steamed clams. Hydra Restaurant We have been going to the Hydra restaurant for over 30 years while vacationing in the Sandpoint area. The food is great, the have a fantastic salad bar and great Sunday Brunch. The service is friendly and fast
A buddy and I chose to dine at Hydra's and it was fantastic. Menu has a variety of menu selections for those desiring to meat protein. We checked on availability of Prime Rib on a Friday evening and we were confirmed good cuts still available. I opted for the "Royal" prep and this was a sizable piece of roasted prime rib which was then quickly seasoned and seared on a hot grill to seal in juices and give it a grill flavor. We went to Hydra Restaurant is Sandpoint, Idaho tonight after a beautiful day hiking in the nearby forest and enjoying fall colors. We wanted the salad bar but they aren’t doing it anymore since Covid. We ordered two Salmon dinners. The garlic butter parmesan mashed potatoes came with the dinner and were excellent as well as the green beans. I have never tasted Salmon this good, incredibly tasty and grilled to perfection. We enjoyed our dinners. The restaurant was busy and the service was good.
RecommendedStaff was very pleasant and the food was delicious.

Everything was awesome! Great appetizers, great selection, and a slice of carrot cake big enough to feed 4 people! Will definitely be back.
Had the clams on Wednesday had to come back Thursday for more!! Enough said!! Great food and atmosphere!!!
