Dropped my wedding rings off to be resized... not only did they do that but they fixed a few loose stones and cleaned my rings! My rings never looked so good, I received so many compliments on how sparkly they were! Highly recommend!!
Laurie is the best. After taking my vintage windup Hamilton to several jewelers for repair, I was very disappointed that none could fix it. Finally I found Laurie, a true professional watch repairer. Laurie saved my finger today in the most precise and gentle way as she expertly cut and pried open my wedding band and engagement ring. If I had gone to the ER the rings would have suffered a lot more damage. In a time of Covid 19 she was my savior. In her human and compassionate way she wouldn’t let me pay for her service. I will be returning to Laurie for the repairs and sizing. God Bless you Laurie!
What a great experience with Hyde Park Jeweler on Rt. 9 Hyde Park, NY! Yes, Laurie Cutcher is one of a few remaining breed of watch repairers, even the old windups! She is great to work with, offers advice on repair or renew of jewelry and watches, and is attentive to your tastes and budget. And she does not rush or pressure; really nice. Her store shows her unique taste in beautiful jewelry, timepieces, and other gifts. I recommend her and her shop highly!
I don’t typically wear a lot of jewelry, but I do take good care of my favorite pieces. After 32 years of marriage, I needed to have my wedding band and engagement ring resized.
