This marks my first hotel review, as I rarely feel compelled to share feedback unless an experience is particularly egregious. As an Explorist member with an extensive history across Hyatt properties worldwide, I can say without hesitation that this stands as the single worst property I have ever had the misfortune of staying at even beneath Hyatt lower tier properties like Hyatt Place. Could not write this review fast enough. We just checked in. Properly is extremely dated, bathroom doors don’t even have a lock, small room, parking is $40 for self park and $55 for valet a day, for all $450/night. No wonder Amex doesn’t consider this one of their fine hotels and resorts. We’ve stayed in much nicer 3-stars. Do not recommend. We regret not staying at intercontinental.
I am writing this review to call out a fantastic front desk staff member, Maria. She mentioned she was relatively new to the property. Excellent check-in and she made sure to greet me by name every time I passed by or interacted with her. Outside of that this was just an okay property. My room was updated at some point and clean.
