Had a pretty decent stay. Was able to get a splendid points redemption, room was standard. There are other Hyatt hotels north and south, but this provided a splendid value and I'm glad they accommodated me with a smile and checked me in well and above early without charging an early check in fee. Then again, it was July 4th so I know it's the exception, probably not the rule. Enjoyed a 4th of July Stay, Virginia at the front desk was exceptional. The breakfast buffet had fresh omelets and waffles. Restaurant was clean and kept well. Had no issues, rooms felt fresh. Had Globalist status, so valet was included, 24hrs. Was very good value for a points booking. Would not discourage using points or cash if the location fits for your stay.
