It's a big hotel but is well maintained. Clean rooms, friendly staff throughout. Solid location, has a floor dedicated for dining w/ a bar and a small shop for coffee and sandwiches that's worth visiting.
Can't even get into my room. Room was supposed to be ready at 3pm. They said it would take just a few moments for a manager to inspect the room to make sure it's ready. I'm still waiting over 40 mins later. Already missed 1 event I paid for at Origins. Got here at 2pm knowing it would be be busy but doing my due diligence to make it as smooth as possible on my end. Usually travel solo for conventions at GCCC, and I love staying here! Great parking garage which includes a skybridge (also have in and out privileges when staying at the hotel) , easy check in process, elevators always available (this past weekend, there were two conventions happening, but still didn't have a problem with elevators), great food and drinks, and cozy, clean rooms. We loved the hotel and rooms, however they weren't ADA compliant for parking for a disabled veteran and that is a huge red flag. I can't stand people who aren't helpful or compassionate toward disabled people. They have every right to be where everyone else is and the fact your manager wouldn't move out of the close guest parking to comply with a guest in need is abhorrently selfish and lazy.
