I had a very disappointing experience at Hyatt Place Vacaville, especially considering the circumstances of my stay. I was traveling from out of state to Vacaville for a family member’s funeral. Because I knew I would be arriving before the normal 3 PM check-in time, I intentionally paid for an additional night and booked the room starting the night before my flight so the room would already be available when I arrived. I just called to have some additional information about my upcoming stay at the hotel. Customer inquiries are handled by an AI agent. So impersonal, showing complete lack of customer care. Unacceptable.
Seems minor to complain about but in an actual emergency... 🤷♂️ I just wonder how it got through all the inspections etc
