Great location! It was extremely convenient for attending an event at the Delta Center. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. Our room didn’t have a microwave, which we knew, still a little inconvenient, using the one near the lobby. The only drawback was that the weekday continental breakfast ending at 9 AM. Next time we’ll just plan to get there much earlier. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip!
Not the best, but not the worst. Parking is probably the toughest part… it’s a tiny lot across from Delta Center and even though there’s an overflow lot, you’re still going battle for a parking spot on busy nights. The rooms were fine, beds are pretty hard and not the softest plus the water is either scalding or frigid- no in between. However, the service is the saving grace. I loved how close this location is to the gateway. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, I was a little disappointed. I went and used there hot tub and the chemicals in the hot tub totally ruined my swimming suit. When I told the front desk lady she said there’s nothing she’s able to do. I’m really disappointed…. When working in this business guests should be top priority.
THE GOOD - The location is within a 10-minute walk of the Salt Palace. - Free breakfast that rotates every day. There are several different options for those with different preferences. What I had was pretty decent (breakfast burritos, waffles, eggs, sausage, oranges, etc.). - The water temperature and pressure were fantastic! - Staff was friendly. THE BAD - The window has a single-panel curtain, the kind that raises and lowers on a chain. It doesn't quite close the gap at the bottom, and light bleeds through on the side. I ... read more
