This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had and I travel quite a bit. The rooms were small and hot, the AC did not work. The man at the front desk was in a hoodie, sweat pants, and basketball slide sandals, was flirting with me and was overall unprofessional. There isn’t enough parking, no parking on the side of the building at all and we had to park across the street at another hotel. My adult children and I had a two night stay in early march ( 2026). The stay itself was fine. We pre booked the room back in January, at which time I paid for the room. For some reason, they charged me again on March 10 th. I called the hotel and was told they would process a refund that would take 3-5 business days. It has now been 10+ business days and I still don’t have my refund

🪳Welcome to Cockroach Palace Releigh🪳 Avoid the Hyatt Place Raleigh-Durham Airport at all costs. I stayed for 7 nights, and it was easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. 🐞Pest Infestation: I found cockroaches crawling out of the bathtub. I have video proof, yet the front desk did absolutely nothing to address it. ❌Zero room Service: They have no room cleaning or refreshing plan. I've stayed here before in the past and it was outstanding. It was probably 2-3 years ago. This time is much different. It looks shabby and unkempt. The parking lot has trash everywhere. When you walk in the door you are overwhelmed by the smell of old fryer grease. I ate food here last time and that was not the case, in fact it was pretty decent.
