The hotel itself is fine, but it's under construction and there are things visitors should know: there is only one slow elevator. Texting for valet parking often doesn't get through and you end up waiting 15+ minutes for your car, even after texting 10 minutes in advance; sidewalks were icy and untreated until we fell (twice) and complained. Our experience at this hotel genuinely ruined our vacation… there is only one functioning elevator and the only staircase is locked and leads outside around the side of the building, far from the entrance. They instruct you to call the valet for your car 10 minutes in advance, but every time without fail we would go to collect our car and they wouldn’t have it ready and we would have to wait another 10-15 minutes. Had to have a last minute stay due to a Christmas Eve Eve snowstorm and couldn't be happier, we had a beautiful room with a fantastic view of the street, service was excellent, and the location cannot be beat! Amazing value!

I was told by Maine Medical that this hotel may have special medical emergency rate after receiving a phone call from my brother who needed open heart surgery the next day. Brandon and his entire staff went above & beyond to assist me during this highly stressful time.
