Loved the location of this hotel. We came to Portland a couple of years ago and this hotel is right where all our favorite places were. Lots of great food nearby (I ordered takeout from the place next door) and others within easy walking distance. Our room was nice and new.
Great hotel and great location. We were in walking distance to just about everything we needed. The hotel shuttle was also g happy to take us where we needed.

I arrived around 8:30pm and the hotel was overbooked despite booking well in advance through the Hyatt website. I was told I need to move to a king suite instead, which I thought would be fair trade-off. Come to find out maintenance needed to come do drywall repair by the entrance and bathroom the next day. There was garbage in the room when I walked in. Hairs in the sheets. I ended up leaving and valet took over 40 minutes to get my car back. Got screwed over, I had to book another hotel at a premium rate.
