An excellent value inn downtown gainesville. Lovely rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, friendly staff, and a great breakfast buffet.

If I had seen the Google reviews, I wouldn't have booked here. 1. Paid $38 for two nights at the paid parking lot (paid $30, then found a cheaper lot farther away and paid $8 the next day) 2. I reserved a 11 PM to 12 AM check-in slot, but when I arrived at midnight in the cold to check in, they didn't open the gate even after I pressed the entrance bell three times (slow response). 3. There is NO parking provided for patrons. Hyatt gives you a map of 2 garages 1 $10 & another $30 to park at night. You also have the option of parking on city streets where hundreds of homeless roam constantly approaching you anytime you are not in a building. I stepped out onto the sidewalk at 6:20am and was almost assaulted by a homeless man who was screaming insanity and ended up 4" from my face. The mgr. Of Starbucks across the street called police.
