Stayed at Hyatt Place Bloomington for my son's IU move in weekend. I have to say, the GM was amazing. Every time we walked through the lobby he was addressing different concerns, complaints, requests. He did it all with a smile and went above and beyond during a very stressfull time for many. From retrieving phone chargers to setting up extra beds to manning the restaurant/bar. He made the stay much more enjoyable and we will definitely come again!
Allen Smith helped me out with a Room Charge problem that was going to cost me an extra 150 dollars if it wasn’t for his excellent customer service
Good as far as I see
I’ve stayed at this Hyatt every year for the past four years because of its convenient location near my friend’s home. Until this most recent visit, I always had a great experience. Unfortunately, that has changed. The problems started before I even checked in. I called to book using my Hyatt member rate but was told my account had been deactivated after 24 months of inactivity—even though I stay here every year.
