I've been coming to this hotel for many years. Probably going back to 2010 - 2012 and it has deteriorated significantly. I am Hyatt Member and travel the country frequently. I probably will never come back to this location. They barely clean the rooms, no one offered me my complimentary free waters. From the Elevators to the rooms, they clearly stopped spending money on capital improvements. I had to remind them 2x to change the lightbulbs on an inoperable wall sconce. I am very disappointed with my experience. I had a family emergency and was unable to travel. I contacted the hotel more than five times by phone and email before my reservation date to explain my situation and request assistance, but no one provided a solution. The front desk staff was unprofessional and disrespectful. They did not seem interested in helping or responding to my concerns. Marriott had failed us and Hyatt was there to help! We were greeted by the nicest staff, given welcome gifts when they saw we were tired from traveling and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED the garden outback. We were feeling defeated one morning and right before breakfast we meditated in the garden— there are words of wisdom and encouragement posted all over the garden, felt like home. One note— upgrade the breakfast a bit more. Would absolutely stay there again!
